Like every year, the ESN is organizing some very cool events that will take place throughout the semester. They try to welcome the international students and create a network between them, so that they can get to know more people and make their time in Halle even more fun and unforgettable.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s events will follow specific regulations. These are the following: some of the gatherings will be divided in small groups, an online registration is needed before each event, you need to wear a mask in every event and in case you feel sick, please stay home. The registration for every event can be done through a link that you can find on their Instagram’s bio (@esn_halle). Keep in mind the registration deadlines!
The program for this upcoming week is as follows:
Monday 26th - Welcome evening
This is a welcome and informative meeting, which they do every year at the beginning of the semester. The people from the ESN will introduce themselves here and give you some more details of what is planned out for this upcoming semester. Also, they will give you some good tips on studying and living in Halle. Last but not least, you will have the opportunity to buy an ESN card, which brings so many cool benefits with it. After the meeting they will take you to a café or bar where you can get to know the rest of the international students.
- Which time? Group 1: 6 pm, Group 2: 7 pm
- Where? Lernwerkstatt der Erziehungswissenschaften, Frankeplatz 1 Haus 31, ground floor.

Wednesday 28th – City Rally
If you want to get to know more of Halle, then this is the perfect event for you! There will be some sightseeing of the main and coolest areas in the city.
- Which time? 3 pm
- Where? Meeting point is the ESN Office, Friedemann-Bach-Platz 6
- Registration deadline: October 27th
Friday 30th – Spooktacular Game Night
In this event you can enjoy playing many fun games, while getting to know better all the other international students. There will be free snacks provided from the ESN
- What time? starting 8 pm
- Where? Spielhaus at Franckesche Stiftungen
- Registration deadline: October 28th
